About the Author

Vaughn A. Jackson is an award-nominated author and editor of horror fiction that focuses on various creatures, kaiju, and cosmic horror. His published novels include the giant monster thrillers, Up from the Deep and Deepspore: Death Below the Sea, the cosmic horror story, Touched by Shadows, and the Civil War-era vampire hunter revenge tale, Southern Cross. He is also the co-editor of the diverse cosmic horror anthology, Beyond the Bounds of Infinity. When not writing, he can usually be found hanging with his wife, dog, and two cats, cracking jokes, and making sure H.P. Lovecraft rolls over in his grave.
